So when the kids were pretty little we decided that we'd have "friend Birthdays" every other year... The even numbered Birthdays... The odd Birthday is a "family Birthday" which since we have plenty of family is a big party anyway. It saves us a bit of sanity, especially since some of their Birthdays are days/weeks apart. Anyhow, Mac agreed to share her day with Luke (or he agreed, I should say) since their special days are so close together. We enjoyed an evening with family at a nearby park complete with family games and a pinata! All the kids donned new Hawaiian clothes brought back the day before from Grandma Nonnie's trip to the big Island. They LOVED them! OH, and a cool surprise!! Uncle Chris was in town, so he was able to enjoy the party too!!
