Happy Pedi to you!

Mackenzie turned 9 in September 2010. To celebrate her special day we had a "girls day" together. It really is kinda fun that she is my only daughter. We had a little lunch, shopped and finished the day off with a trip to get a mani and pedi. She LOVED it! She has loved having her feet rubbed since she was an infant.
I am so grateful to have Mackenzie as a daughter. She is thoughtful, kind, funny, helpful and SO creative. She is constantly creating new projects. Whenever I am getting ready to throw anything away she'll say "wait, stop... don't throw it away, I can use that for something" She is my little pack rat. AND I love her for all the things that make her, HER.

Summer Casting

For the sake of catching up on the blog I thought I'd re post the whole Summer Casts! So Jacksen broke his arm while playing at the park at the end of the block in a freak accident followed by Mackenzie breaking her elbow less than 2 weeks later... at another park. Thank Goodness for water proof casts, they saved us for sure!!

Casting Call?!

Happy the tears are over and she's ALL smiles (well mostly)
What in the world is happening at our house?? Holy Cow, it's been an eventful summer so far. A couple weeks ago Jack was playing at the park and fell on his hand weird while playing tag, broke his hand... Apparently Mackenzie was feeling left out, so while we were at the splash park on Friday of last week, she broke her elbow... WHAT IS GOING ON? Here is the good news!! 2 words..... water-proof. Who knew they made waterproof casts? They can swim and even bathe in them so they are not itchy or smelly. YAY for that! Now, I'm off to buy large sums of bubble wrap where I will wrap everyone inside it nice and cozy to prevent any further injury. LOL
I swear, if there were frequent flyer miles for Dr. visits, we'd be flying far ♥

It's GREAT to be EIGHT!!

OOPs with all the posting I've done today so far, I missed Mac's eighth Birthday... So here it is. She wanted to go ice skating this year so we invited some of her gal pals to join us. What a BLAST!! We started out at the house complete with cake, ice cream and gifts then we scooted on over to Skatetown in Roseville to skate. Mackenzie LOVES to ice skate and she has so much fun with all her friends. Surely, a Birthday to remember for years to come

Sacramento Zoo Pals

Mackenzie and I went to the Sacramento Zoo with all the first grade classes at her School last week. We had so much fun checking out all the animals and spending time with her friends from School. I love to go on fieldtrips!!
