What a place for a Sunday picnic
We often picnic on Sunday afternoons with the kids so this past Sunday we decided to head up to the Sacramento Temple and picnic there. Such a wonderful place to be with the kids. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and couldn't resist cooling off a bit (very respectfully of course) in the huge fountain. The kids enjoyed chasing the geese around the park area. We may make this a regular outing, it sure was peaceful.

Family Night
Open house
Open house at Breen Elementary... One of the best parts about moving was getting the kids into Breen Elementary School in Rocklin. We love this School and the teachers!! We had a fun night as we toured Mackenzie and Jacksen's classrooms. In Jack's class we watched a video of the years events and projects and then got to see Jack's work. So funny... We also got to see (and hear) the baby chicks they hatched a couple weeks ago. Mackenzie showed us her work including a self portrait. She recently finished a report of jaguars (her favorite animal, at least for now) We also got to watch the 4Th grade classes square dance :) Happy to know the boys and girls still learn to square dance. It's the little things right?!

Park Pals
We spent Saturday afternoon at the park with our pals the Besabes. Mackenzie and Jack have really missed their buddies Jordan and Mariah (who they've spent much of their waking moments with over the last 4 years) so it was so fun to spend some time playing together. It was really hot, but the slurpees helped!! We hope to see them again soon!!

Viva Las Vegas!!
a bit backwards, but our trip ended with Lori breaking her ankle...
So every year in April Arbonne has a National Training Conference that I attend. Every year we have a blast and go home exhausted from all the friends staying up all night to chat, sharing ideas, learning, growing and just having a wonderful time. Randy stays home with all the kids each year so that I can go :) Love my Randy. He's such a huge support to me and my Arbonne business (because he knows I am his only ticket to early retirement!!) We had an especially eventful trip this year. We stayed a couple extra days to enjoy some "girl time" Lori and Carma's cousin from Canada was visiting and her women's hockey team just happened to be playing in a tournament while we were there. Such a fun game! Unfortunately it ended with Lori missing a step on the way out and breaking her ankle (poor Lori) The only help we got was from a drunk Physician who was at the game (lol) Anyhow, she's recovering thank heavens. So, the trip was wonderful (mostly) I Love Arbonne!!
